Important: Make sure you remove your phone from Apple iCloud, Google, or Samsung account before bringing your phone into store. This helps us process your trade in quicker

  • IMEI Number: Just dial #06# on your phone, and it’ll pop up. The IMEI is a 15-digit number unique to your device.
  • If your device has two IMEIs, use IMEI 1.
  • You can find this in your device settings under “About Device”. If you still have the box it came in, that usually has it too.
  • We’ll inspect your phone in store. If there’s a difference in the model or condition that changes the value, we’ll update you straight away on the new value. If you’re not happy, you can reject it and have your phone returned back to you.

  • Once you get a trade in quote from Magenta Trade in, it’s valid for 14 days. If you bring your device in store after those 14 days, we’ll give you an updated value based on current prices.
