Trade-in Shipping Manual

Before Shipping

Please be sure to review the following important information regarding the use of the trade-in

Main points

  • The trade-in program provides financial value by purchasing your current smartphone.
  • The estimated purchase amount is only valid for a period of time from when you quote was created, and your device must be dleivered to the inspection center within this period
  • Before sending your device, please ensure you have backed up and reset all data. Any remaining data on the shipped device will be erased and cannot be restored.
  • Please cancel or transfer any linked apps or services to another device beforehand.
  • Device with an active actount lock (Apple, Samsung Google, etc) or those reported lost, stolen, restricted, inoperable, or otherwise not in a normal condition cannot be purchased. For environmental protection, such devices are eligible for free recycling.
  • If the applicant and the account holder differ, this program cannot be used.

Please remove any phone accessories (except the S Pen and SIM tray) as well as any other items (such as USIN, SD Card, Adapter, and case) before sending your device.

Thank you for using a Likewize operated trade-in program. Please follow the steps outlined in this manual to ship your device. Additionally, be sure to review all important information before shipping.

Trade-in Process

Please ensure prompt shipping so that the package arrives at the inspection center prior to your quote expiry.

Main points

  • Back Up Data. Go to settings > Accounts and Backup to back up your device data
  • Deactivate Activation Locks. Disable all activation locks on your device (Samsung/Apple/Google accounts, home screen locks, etc.).
  • Erase Data and Reset Settings. Go to Home screen > General > Reset > Reset All Settings to erase data and reset your device.
  • Remove SIM Card or eSIM. Use a SIM removal tool to remove the SIM card from your device or deactivate your eSIM.
  • Remove External Storage. Remove any external storage, such as a memory card from the device.

Product Packaging Instructions

Prepaid Shipping with Provided Returns Kit

  1. Once you receive the return kit, follow the instructions in the infographics above, or further still the video below to package your device securly.
  2. Follow any carrier realted instructions on the accomanying letter.
  3. Hand your device to our carrier or drop off your packaged device at the selected location to ship it to us.

Post Shipping Process

Once the package arrives at the Likewize Inspection Center, your device will undergo an evaluation. The evaluation results will be sent to you via email. If you agree to the final purchase price based on the evaluation results (no action needed if it matches the estimated price), payment will be issued to your account.
